Pendidikan yang disediakan harus meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kreativiti murid dan pada masa yang sama membolehkan murid berfikir, menaakul, boleh membuat keputusan yang bijak, belajar dalam kumpulan dan melihat perkaitan antara ilmu yang dipelajari merentas kurikulum. Oleh itu,10 ciri pengajaran abad ke 21 dicadangkan Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (2010).

Education provided should enhance the knowledge and creativity of students and at the same time allows students to think, menaakul, can make an informed decision, learn in a group and look at the association between knowledge learned across the curriculum. Therefore, 10 features of teaching the 21st century proposed the Ministry of education (2010).
