Tempat pengauditan bergantung kepada jenis audit yang ditentukan iaitu bagi audit meja/audit pejabat tempat pengauditan dilaksanakan di pejabat kastam dan bagi audit lapangan, tempatnya ialah di premis pihak yang diaudit atau di mana-mana tempat mengikut kesesuaian pihak yang diaudit.
