Gaya pembelajaran merupakan antara faktor penting yang menentukan pencapaian akademik pelajar dalam peperiksaan. Manakala motivasi dilihat mempunyai pengaruh yang kuat terhadap pembelajaran pelajar. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gaya pembelajaran dan motivasi dengan pencapaian pelajar terhadap subjek Bahasa Kebangsaan A. Para responden terdiri daripada pelajar Kolej Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. Responden yang terlibat merupakan pelajar diploma semester dua dan diwajibkan mengambil subjek Bahasa Kebangsaan A berdasarkan gred yang diperoleh dalam subjek Bahasa Melayu Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM). Kajian yang dijalankan berdasarkan inventori gaya pembelajaran Model Selmes 1987. Data akan dianalisis menggunakan pakej SPSS Versi 22 untuk melihat hubungan antara gaya pembelajaran dan motivasi pelajar dengan pencapaian pelajar dalam subjek terbabit. Kajian ini bakal memberi implikasi kepada universiti, para pensyarah dan pelajar khasnya dalam kursus Bahasa Kebangsaan A.

Learning styles is one of the important factors determining students ' academic performance in the examination. While motivation is seen to have a strong influence on the students ' learning. Therefore, this study aimed to look at learning styles and motivation the achievement of students on the subject of national language a. respondents consisting of students of Kolej Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. Respondents who are involved is a two semester and diploma students are required to take the subject of A national language based on the grade earned in the subject English Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination. A study based on the inventory of learning styles Model Selmes 1987. The data will be analyzed using SPSS package Version 22 to see the relationship between learning styles and motivation of students with student achievement in the subject involved. The review will be providing implications University lecturers and students especially in the course of A national language.Keywords: learning styles, motivation, A national language.
