Dalam kajian ini, bahan mentah yang digunakan ialah tradisional bebola lempung, ragi tempe digunakan sebagai pore foarming agent manakala kanji sago digunakan sebagai kanji yang mengikat komposisi buih seramik. Sebagai bahan penambah kanji merupakan suatu bahan yang mempunyai ciri-ciri yang mudah diproses, ketersediaan komersial dan terbakar dengan lengkap tanpa sisa abu.

In this study, the raw material used is the traditional clay balls, ragi tempe used as pore foarming agent while sago starch is used as a starch governing the composition of the ceramic foam. As additives starch is a substance that has features that are easily processed, commercial availability and burn completely without waste ash.
