Accurate determination of the coverage of coastal inundation is tremendously important for planning and carrying out of necessary adaptation measure to support the inundated coastal risk assessment. In this case study, an evaluation was made between open-sources DEM and high-accurate vertical elevation measurement (LIDAR) with respect to GPS observation data. It can be concluded that the resulting assessment on SRTM DEM DEM become the highest correlation compared to other open-sources DEM model with a R2 of 0.912m and a RMSE of 9.098m. Additionally, LIDAR DEM also represent the best sources of the terrain data for coastal inundation modeling due to the vertical and horizontal accuracy, which is ± 0.15m and 0.30m. The development of the sea level rise is significant simulation to monitor and forecast the impact of the sea level on the scenario that could inundate coastal areas due to the increment of sea level rise based on the future projection of the sea level and high accuracy DEM on land. The development of the sea level rise is significant simulation to monitor and forecast the impact of the scenario on the sea level that could inundate coastal areas due to the increment of sea level rise based on the future projection of the sea level and high accuracy DEM on land. In addition the potential vulnerable assessment will also include the human population value. People affected by the coastal inundation will be analyzed based on the inundation risk map. As a result, this study will provide useful information for better understanding future coastal development and exposure to coastal flooding and submerge at global, regional and national scales.
