1.0 Introduction
Many of the assembly lines in manufacturing industries operated in manual or semi-automatic. Thus, comfort should be noted that the work environment increase health and safety, performance and productivity. (Ahmad Rasdan et al., 2014). An appropriate work environment and sustainability will have a positive impact and good for the health and comfort of workers or consumers. Ergonomic environment is very important to ensure the safety and health of workers is guaranteed. Referring to the automotive sector, the manufacturing industry a short time is an important base for the product development process (Sundin et.al, 2004). The ability to process and ergonomically design is fundamental to the manufacture of high-tech products (Klatte et al. 1997). According to (Dul & Weerdmester, 2008) developed an ergonomic approach to reduce fatigue and discomfort of working in order to improve the safety, health and human services. Wisdom someone in managing risk can avoid a mistake or an accident in turn will give a good impression to people, the environment and the company (Kindler, 1990). Employee productivity is a priority to ensure that employees working at its optimum level. Therefore, many companies or organizations have been aware of the importance of the various measures and efforts have been identified. Because of the importance of environmental factors on labor productivity which in turn will benefit the industry, a study to determine the relationship between environmental factors and labor productivity must be implemented to ensure that the environment is in a state that a positive impact on health, psychology , job satisfaction, performance and productivity of its direct benefit of an employee and a good result for the company.
